As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software for impact.com’s platform. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality solutions, contributing to automation and testing, and collaborating within a distributed team environment. You will work on meaningful tasks like fixing broken builds, supporting QA, and participating in production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Software Development Develop and maintain software for impact
• com’s platform
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
• Testing & Quality Assurance Build unit, functional, and integration tests
• Write automation tests and debug bugs
• Support software testing processes
• Team Collaboration Participate in sprint planning, design sessions, and pair programming
• Collaborate with a distributed team to achieve departmental objectives
• Assist with onboarding and environment setup for new team members
• Documentation & Deployment Write and maintain design, user, and test documentation
• Contribute to production deployments and non-customer-facing code

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 1–2 years of software development experience
• Familiarity with Java, Spring, and related technologies
• Understanding of Agile/Iterative processes (e
• g, Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of relational databases, table design, and SQL
